A 25-year-old mother has tragically died after having a Brazilian butt-lift procedure – less than a year after another woman passed away at the same clinic following the controversial surgery.
.
.
Missouri-native Ranika Hall, 25, travelled to South Florida to undergo the bottom-shaping operation because she was unhappy with her post-pregnancy body.
.
.
And despite her tearful mother urging her not to go through with the procedure, Ranika visited Eres Plastic Surgery in Miami and sadly never came out alive.
.
.
In May last year, mum-of-two Heather Meadows, 29, died at the same company, then named Encore Plastic Surgery and under different ownership, after having a Brazilian butt lift.
.
.
Ranika’s mother Nicole Hall told NBC Miami that her family tried to persuade her determined daughter not to have the operation. She said: “I tried to talk her out of it. I really did. Her sisters and her brothers tried to talk her out of it.”
.
.
Less than a year ago, West Virginia-resident Meadows died after fat clots clogged up her arteries causing her organs to fail, reports the New York Post.
.
.
Last Thursday, Hall stopped breathing and was pronounced dead at 10pm local time, cops said. A Brazilian butt-lift involves fat being taken from other parts of the body which is then injected into the buttocks.
