A Nigerian father Olusola Omoju, has risen to the fore and filed a case against the Big Brother Naija show, requesting the court to end the show as it is dwindling his efforts in morally raising his children.
According to Olusola who is a medical doctor, he seeks an injunction which restrains the broadcast of the live show on DSTV and GoTV pending the consideration of the suit.
BBNaija banned for indecency
In the suit, the Doctor alleged that Multichoice introduced the big brother Naija channel, which promotes explicit, immoral and obscene behavior without his consent.
Olusola said that the active viewing of the reality TV show has negatively impacted his family members and others who are dependent on him.
He affirmed that Multichoice usually introduce a special code which allows subscribers choose whether or not they want to view a show, however, he said the ‘special code’ was not continued this year.
