Worried by the continued terror acts by Boko Haram in their country, some Local chiefs in Cameroon have approached their president, Paul Biya, to grant them permission to fight off Boko Haram using witchcraft..lol. This is according to Cameroon’s Investigative Journalist, Bisong Etahoben.
He also stated that Cameroon army recently dispersed a gang of over 50 Boko Haram jihadists planning attack on Ashigashiya. According to him 15 insurgents were killed and 2 captured.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC on Saturday January 30th, stormed the Abuja office of former Vice President Namadi Sambo, ransacked it for documents and also seized $50,000.
According to a report by The Nation, the anti-graft agency may have ransacked his office over an alleged N20 million monthly subvention he received from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) while he was Vice President.
It was learnt that the search was informed by the unusual movement of hefty bags into the office of Sambo’s Manyatha Company on Saturday. EFCC sources say the relocation of the suspicious bags from Sambo’s home to the office made the agency act swiftly.
One of the EFCC sources said
“The ongoing investigation of $2.1 billion arms cash under ex-NSA Sambo Dasuki has been extended to the former VP. The search started on Saturday till the early hours of Monday. Apart from getting N20 million monthly from ONSA, we got tip-off on movement of some bags loaded with hard currency. All we did was to investigate this clue by searching the ex-VP’s office in a cautious manner and in the full glare of the employees. At the appropriate time, we will inform the public of our findings. We are also looking at the circumstances behind the N20 million grant allocated to the ex-VP’s office by the ONSA. Ordinarily, a sitting VP has a budget for his office. It is like subjugating your office to a junior public officer if you have to be taking N20 million from the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA). We cannot be blind to this important aspect of monthly grant to a VP by the former security adviser. Some former presidential aides are also under investigation.”
A source close to the former Vice President confirmed the search of the office in Abuja’s Central Business District (CBD).
“The EFCC operatives invaded the Manyatha Company of the former Vice President on Saturday, broke the doors. The operatives did not come with any warrant and when they left, there was no record of inventories. What happened was that the ex-VP moved some documents in Ghana-Must-Go bags from his house to the office in the Central Business District. I think they got false alarm that dollars were stuffed in the bags and decided to raid the office on the sixth floor. We share the same office complex with the British Visa Section. Do you know that since Saturday, the policemen brought by the EFCC are still in the office? The EFCC asked the company to repair its doors before the police could leave the place.”
On the alleged N20 million collected monthly from ONSA, the source added:
“It is a statutory subvention for the Office of the Vice President. When ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was VP, he was getting it. The same subvention was given to ex-VP Atiku Abubakar. Ex-VP Sambo is ready to defend the subvention when necessary. He did not steal public funds and he did not get campaign funds from ONSA.”

Since the 1980s, the Italian town of Ostana had not seen the birth of a single baby.
But last week, a dream came true, as the mayor of the small town said. A baby was born. The first in 28 years.
According to La Stampa, the town has only 85 inhabitants, including newborn Pablo. Its population has continuously fallen — a fate shared by many other Italian towns and villages.
“The real decline started in 1975, with 17 babies between 1976 and 1987, when the last boy was born – until little Pablo,”
Mayor Giacomo Lombardo was quoted as saying. A party will be held to celebrate what he hopes will be the start of a reversal of that trend.
But the population decline will be hard to stop, no matter what ideas Lombardo comes up with.
Younger Italians in particular say there are few attractive job prospects in rural areas. Many have moved to cities, leaving their hometowns to the elderly. Ostana, which is in northern Italy, has only one shop, a bar and two restaurants, according to the Italian news site the Local.
Some parts of northern Italy have been hit harder than others. But the south, including the island of Sicily, has faced more dramatic demographic changes in recent decades.
The arrival of baby Pablo has certainly been welcomed in Ostana, according to the mayor. “It’s great to finally have someone born here, and it shows that our efforts to reverse population decline are slowly working,” Lombardo was quoted as saying.
Lombardo has tried to create jobs in order to prevent other young people from leaving the town. Pablo might be the first indication that his strategy is working. His parents wanted to move away several years ago but stayed after they were offered the opportunity to work at a mountain refuge.

The controversial doctor who famously injected himself with Charlie Sheen’s HIV positive blood has claimed his goats milk treatment can cure the virus.
Dr. Samir Chachoua made the extraordinary claims he had ‘cured countries’ of HIV and Aids during an interview on Real Time with Bill Maher last night.
Chachoua – who is not licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. – has been treating Sheen who revealed last year that he has been battling with virus for four years.
He added that his ‘cure’, based on the milk of arthritic goats, had made the virus ‘undetectable’ in the Hollywood star, Gawker reports.
The doctor says that the CAEV virus present in the milk ‘destroys HIV and protects people who drink it for life.’
Chachoua went onto announce he had eradicated HIV and another virus called chikungunya in Comoros, an island nation off the eastern coast of Africa, in 2006.
The doctor did not go into any detail to how his supposed treatment would ‘destroy HIV’, neither did he offer any scientific studies backing up his wild claims.
HIV positive Charlie Sheen
The 50-year-old Golden Globe winner – who was immediately put on strong antiviral drugs which suppressed the virus after his diagnosis – stopped taking his medication in order to try an experimental ‘vaccine’ in Mexico.
Sheen has since admitted earlier this month on The Dr. Oz Show that his HIV numbers are ‘up’.
But Chachoua claimed the troubled star was ‘the first adult in history to go HIV negative’ during his appearance on Maher’s show.
He told the host that when Sheen was on ‘the incredibly powerful medical cocktails, he still showed virus.’
‘As soon as he started my treatment he became undetectable,’ he claimed.
The bizarre and false claims were followed by a pre-recorded clip of Sheen complaining to the doctor about some of the side effects of his antiretroviral therapy including migraines and ‘poo poo pants.’
‘It’s a horrible way to live, all these side effects disappeared the minute he started my therapy and the minute he started my therapy, his liver went to normal levels,’ claimed Chachoua.
‘Even the charts they held up on our show, all the great tests they showed, they were during my treatment, not theirs.’
Chachoua also discussed the moment he had injected himself with Sheen’s blood, saying he had been ‘that confident’ of his cure.
Sheen has previously admitted he is risking his life with the untested treatment.
Charlie Sheen boasted in a pre-recorded segment on the Dr Oz show: ‘I’ve been off my meds about a week now. I feel great. Am I risking my life? So what? I was born dead. That part of it doesn’t phase me at all.’
‘I didn’t see it as Russian roulette. I didn’t see it as a complete dismissal of the conventional course we’ve been on. I’m not recommending that anyone – I’m presenting myself as a type of guinea pig.’
But his latest series of tests showed that Chachoua’s ‘cure’ had actually led worrying news that his HIV numbers were going up for the first time.
‘I had been non-detectable, non-detectable and checking the blood every week and then found out the numbers are back up,’ the Anger Management star told the 55-year-old cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Oz.
‘I’m amazed that I’m actually alive’.
Both Dr. Oz and Sheen’s physician Dr. Robert Huizenga condemned the treatments he was receiving from Dr. Sam Chachoua, who’s not licensed to practice in the States.

Four suspected armed robbers were arrested by the Ogun State Police Command along Ode Lemo Road, Sagamu, Ogun State.
The suspects identified as David Ogunjinrin, and Mohammed Ibrahim were arrested by police detectives attached to Sagamu Divison led by the Divisional Police Officer after they received a distress call about an ongoing robbery.
When the police arrived the crime scene, the robbers had already attacked their victim and dispossesed him of his motorcycle, mobile phones and money. The two suspects led the police to their hideout in Onoajegbe Village in Iperu Ogun state where two other members of the gang identified Adebayo Segun and Muda Yahaya were arrested. Among items recovered from them were a Bajal Motorcycle and a locally made single barrel gun.
PM News reports that the suspected armed robbers who confessed to have carried out numerous crimes in Lagos and Ogun state claimed to be from Lagos State.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Department of Finance and Administration, DCP Celestine Okoye, who spoke on behalf of the Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali commended the Divisional Police officer and his men for the good job and directed that the case be transferred to the Special-Anti Robbery Squad Abeokuta for further Investigation.
