People running, hoodlums shooting, police arresting with the help of the army to put sanity and order into the area. Earlier today there were reports that hood youths of different tribes clashed today killing about six people. It’s also been reported that the fight had started overnight. They were very defiant towards the police that it took the assistance of the Nigerian army to put order into the area. Many were arrested and I’m sure more soon would be. At this moment the popular Mile 12 /Ketu area of Lagos state have been shut down and commerce paralyzed but we are not sure for how long.
I just believe that the traders in the area would find a way around to meet with their customers’ needs by residing their goods to safer and closer location. We can’t actually place a finger on the cause of the fight and I even wonder if we ever would because many times fight cases like this would be buried before we know it. We would bring you more updates as soon as we have them. See pictures as you read on…
