16 Year Old Boy Shoots Cousin To Death In Imo

Sorrow, tears and agony engulfed Dikenta Autonomous Community, Avutu in the Obowo local government area of Imo State, following the brutal killing of an 11-year-old boy, Jonathan Osuocha by his 16-year-old cousin, Chinaza Osuocha.

We gathered that a misunderstanding between Remigius Ifeanyi Osuocha (the father of the deceased) and his younger brother, Ahamefula Osuocha (the father of the assailant) climaxed when Ahamefula who is a hunter left his gun which he wanted to use to hunt games in the night and to carry out his palm wine tapping business.

It was gathered that Chinaza invited his cousin, Jonathan and Chika (the children of his father’s elder brother, Remigus  Ifeanyi Osuocha) to his father’s house.

After sending them to go and fetch water for him, he (Chinaza) entered his father’s room and brought out his gun.

Jonathan, who became apprehensive began to imagine what he (Chinaza) wanted to do with the gun, stood in front of him with Chinaza pointing the gun at him to his consternation.
