Man arrested while trying to kidnap a 2-year-old boy

Suleiman Seidu, 33, was arrested for attempting to kidnap a two year-old boy, Chimdi Udwu, in Owode, Ogun State. He had planned to demand a ransom of N10m from the child’s father.

The suspect confessed to the crime and said that he wanted to kidnap the young boy because his biological mother is seriously ill and looking for money by all means to pay her hospital bill.
