10 Reasons Why WWE Fastlane 2016 Truly, Utterly Sucked

This isn’t the first time you will witness a WWE event being trashed and it sure as hell won’t be the last, but it’s safe to say that WWE Fastlane truly, utterly sucked.

There’s little chance of WWE ever making all of its fans happy, especially the critical ones who build themselves up with internet hype and complain when a show fails to deliver, but the world’s largest professional wrestling company completely dropped the ball on this occasion. Fans can be forgiven for being upset when their expectations for the ‘last stop before WrestleMania’ were not even close to being met.

In fact, looking for positives to take out of the show is harder than getting Roman Reigns over as a baby face; it should come as no surprise that Reigns’ victory over Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose will be mentioned.

Main event aside, almost all of Fastlane was a total misfire. While the matches themselves were quite entertaining for the most part, the show was so ridiculously predictable that you could have read an online dirt sheet beforehand and known all the results.

There are a few positives that should be mentioned: Kevin Owens is the best heel professional wrestling has seen in a long time, Kalisto confirmed he deserves a championship around his waist and Naomi, Tamina, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are all wonderful performers that deserve credit for putting on a quality tag match which featured many elements seasoned tag teams disregard.

Sadly, the negatives heavily outweigh the positives, and WWE providing a stinker of a pay-per-view just 42 days before WrestleMania 32 in Dallas can’t be brushed under the rug.

These are 10 reasons why Fastlane was beyond terrible.
