Sexy singer, Yemi Alade got tongues waggling over the weekend, when she stepped out with a designer dress worth 2.5 million naira.
As if that was not enough, the singer who is still making buzz in the media has given more to talk about her.
She now ranks herself equal with international acts like Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, among others.
Well, it’s good to appreciate one’s craft, and no doubt Nigerian music has gone far more than the shores of our country alone.
Isn’t such comparison a bit unrealistic? As the singer claims the only differences she can spot is ‘opportunity’ which put these international acts on an advantage.
In her words: “I was fortunate to watch Beyonce, Alicia keys, usher, Jennifer Hudson hit the stage, all in one night. It was magical. I also realized that apart from the talent, the major difference between us and them is opportunity.”
