Nigeria celebrated 57 years of independence on the 1st of October amidst the country’s current situation and the complaints of it;s citizens among celebration were the births of ‘Independence babies’ who were born between the earliest hours of the 1st of October and the 11:59pm pf the date and yes these babies are branded as ‘Independence babies’ and are nationally celebrated or they used to be nationally celebrated, we don’t know what they do with them nowadays though.
A Nigerian woman that put to bed while the independence day celebration was on decade to go all in and decorate her new born child in a ‘green and white’ baby-wrap. Cute, see the picture below…
