A 25-year-old Nigerian national was, yesterday, arrested in India, on the charge of drug peddling and 53 grams of cocaine was seized from him, police said.

Ugochukwu Godpower, who arrived India in 2015, on a tourist visa, was nabbed from Banjara Hills area in the city while he was on his way to deliver cocaine to customers.

In November last year, he was arrested for a similar case and was sent to judicial remand. However, after his release from jail in December, he had again started peddling drugs, police said.
